Hey Marty -- thanks for using my photo!
I am sitting at a computer at Lavin Services, right next to Timmy's & across from Mata Rocks, catching up on my email. My sister, at her computer in Honolulu, wrote that one of my photos is today's Photo of the Day -- so of course I had to have a look. I was back at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley again yesterday, 2 days before that, and also 4 days ago, so it's all fresh in my mind.
Tomorrow I go home, and will have the fun of sorting through my new collection of photos -- LOTS of them. This time I did a lot of exploring of the more outlying areas, seeing where the residents live. Also had a walk over/back on the new bridge. Barely a sign of where the ferry used to ply its way across the cut. A small structure is being built which I believe will sell snacks.
It was a wonderful day. More of a report in a few days.
