I live in Canada and am thinking of moving to San Pedro, possibly purchasing a business. Is there any site that lists apts. for rent? Also is there any site or anyone member that can tell me what to expect in weather conditions?

Thinking of moving here and wondering about the weather? It is warmer here than where you are at. When you are looking into the weather you may want to look into business ownership as a non citizen as well. Good luck

Why as a non citizen? How bad is the hurricanes season? Do you get hit with hurricanes or just high winds and rain?

Have read about San Pedro as well as articles in International Living magazine. Sounds nice. As well as the tax advantages.

Be warned, in that reading they may not mention that we tip here unlike Canada. You can not come here and work. There are many laws involved that you will need to look into. Citizenship is not easily obtained. A lot of what you read makes for great reading but is not necessarily the case. Has anyone mentioned how expensive it is here? You maybe can live less expensive on the mainland than in Canada but not a chance on the Island.
