I just don't understand why ya need to read a book about watching birds. Its really easy! Just look at the bird and then if it flys, follow it with your eyes. No Problemo!!

Hi Friends: Speaking of Birds, my sliver of land up against the Lagoon of San Pedro, has become the habitat of Wood Storks. The birds come and go out past San Pedrito on Dr Elmers Old Property. We have Great Blue Heron, Roseate Spoonbills, Reddish Egets, White Ibis and an assortment of other birds. Birdwatchers are always welcome to visit me out in the White Fourplex way out at the end of the road, "in" the water. Evenings and Mornings are the best times to view the greatest number of birds. Bring ya running shoes, we also have some Crocks. Take care: Bill

Elbert --

Just read the first three sections last night. We actually interupted our current Edith Wharton (we read aloud to one another) to read some of the book.

It is delightful! I think we have to order another for Katherine -- This one's for us.

Buba,Just started reading your book.Very funny esp the part about you discovering your brains.I don't know if you remember this or not but we met at Casa Caribe two New Year's ago.You came up to me to visit and I asked you to lay down and take a load off.You quickly plopped down and licked my foot.Wish I had known then that you would become famous, I would have asked for a paw print.
My yellow lab, Bailey, is also reading your book during the day.Not sure if he likes to read it or just chew the pages.Anyway nice going.
Oh, and tell Elbert that he did good too.
See you in May!
Steve, Robin and Bailey
