I am well aware the many of the locals refer to it as "the city". I spent over a year at T. I. You may recall, a small island in "Frisco" bay. I have also spent a great deal of time in the San Jose, and Sunnyvale areas working, as well as the city itself. You may be aware it also has many more names, some more colorful and amusing than others.

It kind of reminds me of the situation common in Manhattan, where the inhabitants (many of them) consider it the center of the known universe, despite the fact that they live in small walkups and share bathrooms. It is amusing when folks think their little plot of dirt is somehow superior to everywhere else. I just love elitists, they are so fun.

I personally love "Frisco".
