Hoping for an update from tres cocos and am prepared to fly down as soon as practical with whatever I can bring that is needed.

I just got a call from Jim Hanna standing on top of a roof using Caye Caulker's cell tower. Much damage in Tres Cocos, Lindsay's house is gone. She and her family are staying in our house. He advised I not come down for at least a month. Too much debris.
They are all ok and relayed that the Palapa Bar is gone, but the house is there. I tried to ask about people, but he kept breaking up on the cell. He will call again tomorrow. I hope this helps someone.. it certainly helped me!!

SO glad you finally got your phone call. Wouldn't you know Jim would be tall enough on top of a building to hook into Caulker tower. I love it. Pass much love and hugs from me to them when you hear from them again.

Thanks for that update, Robin. Glad your place still standing and folks OK. SO Sorry to hear about Lindseys place and palapa bar. Just glad to hear that everyone appears to have survived it. Please let me know if you hear anything else from tres cocos or anything specific about the Campbells, Doug and Ali, whose home is in tres cocos, only one home away from our place (the pink wooden one story one next to McLeans).

Chris tried to call us again this afternoon, but can't get a clear connection. He will try to get someplace higher tomorrow. Trying to board up and clean out house so can stay in it tonight---basic needs first. Have a million questions like everyone, but will just have to be patient and wait for good phone connections. will keep you all advised when hear more.

WE HAVE NOT HEARD ANYMORE INFO. THIS AFTERNOON AND DON'T EXPECT TO UNTIL AM. THE LAST THING CHRIS SAID WAS THAT HE WOULD GET HIGHER AND TRY US ON WEDNESDAY. AS SOON AS WE HEAR WE WILL TRY AND ASK YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT PEOPLE, HOUSES, AND BOATS. THE CONNECTION HAS BEEN REALLY POOR HOWEVER THE THING ABOUT TELLING THE PERSON TO TURN HELPED FOR ABIT. SO REMEMBER MARTY'S TIP IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET A CALL FROM SOMEONE..

Is it possible that Lori Purdy is among you all. Now that the steam is more or less out of the bag...it would be really helpful to have specifics, like peoples names instead of just, "everyone is ok!"...not critizing, you guys have been thru hell but now that the immediate danger is over, maybe a list would be really, really helpful. So glad you are safe and sound.
