Gsreimers, if you are interested in a resort north of Grand Caribe you might want to consider Indigo Beach Resort. It's about 4 1/2 miles north, close to a grocery store, only 15 units and has 24 hour security. Also Los Encantos, Ambergris Divers, and Caye villas are all up here in the Mata Grande neighborhood.
