Is anyone coming that could bring a stereo receiver? I have a small Pioneer surround sound the the receiver has been shutting off and not coming back on for months. If you have an old one or have a friend that does, or if I can order it and ship it to you before you come to San Pedro please let me know. I am aiming for next July (if I can secure a rental!), and would be more than happy to bring something from the eastern shore of the US (live in the resort town of Rehoboth Beach). Shoot me a PM and if it's not too huge, I'm good for it.

I am a teacher in Idaho. I was thinking of driving down in November. I'd be happy to help until I found something that paid. I'm sure I could bring many of those items on the wish list with me in the Jeep. Any advice?

Just a note: that Jeep won't be coming on the island, they won't give you a permit.

Duties for vehicles are listed here: http://www.customs.gov.bz/rate_motor_vehicles.html They use the Blue Book value to determine the charges.

Well it looks like I'll have to trade it for something with two wheels...perhaps a flight and a golf cart rental...I'll bring the Earl Gray anyhow... What else is in short supply down there?

coming in Feb and would be happy throw a few things in if can be brought via plane! Could use help finding someone to take our family fishing/snorkeling/diving etc for the week we are there. Would like to hire someone for the week, not a per trip charter. Anyone have a good suggestion? See a house rented with this, but the house doesn't fit our circumstances very well.
