We're so glad to hear any news of our friends in Tres Cocos. Thank you all. Glad to hear about Mary, Bud and Daniel, but still worried about Elma, Mike and Joyce. Rich Henkes is going to AC as soon as possible. What's going on with the "quarrantine"? Is it true or just rumor?

the quarrantine thing seems to be a false rumor, from other reports I've been reading on the message center. A good report is at "Latest info from san pedro" posted at 3:11pm today. Hope this is helpful.

Hi, sorry that i have no news regarding Sonja and her children. Jim was very anxious and talking very fast so the cell didn't go on his phone. He was supposed to call tonight and didn't. I figure that cleaning up and preparing for the nightfall is most important. I will post if I hear anything. My prayers are with all the people of Belize. They have been through hell and back. Keep the faith, ok!

Finally had a call from Chris a little while ago. Still not real clear communications, but will take what we get. They are doing ok, just trying to cope with everything. Suggestions for anyone going down---insect spray(deep woods off,etc.)and of course cigarettes for Chris and anyone else that has the need. And of course the basic needs for camping out with no elec. Think water in cisterns is ok on most front houses, but that could change from area to area. Didn't get much info on boat docks yet.
sherman house ok, green's house ok, house between Elma's and Smith's thought ok, but not sure about roof. We are still planning to go down first of week.

Stan and Phyllis.....Sure appreciate your updates whenever Chris calls...... it means so much to all of us sitting here waiting....... :-) Glad to hear little by little the good news of our friends and familys coming through !! Communication seems to be getting better for the cell phones, that sure helps ! Still haven't heard any news about 'our' house ( :-).... well, you know, it's not really OUR house, but the Hicklin House :-)....we have just become a little posessive about it :-) :-) :-)......).....

I Just got back from a big shopping trip to town and the message below was waiting. Can anyone help Vicky get word through to Landy Trejo? Thanks all of you out there who have kept the info flowing. I'll be heading down to tres cocos monday with as much stuff as I can bring; I'll look fwd to meeting some of you there.

was planning on cutting my vacation short here and was
thinking of coming back down Oct 10th.I need to know
from Landy if I should come now and what can I
bring?Same goes for Anna and Jim for anything that
they might need.Could Landy borrow Jim's phone?Landy
has two cellular phones as well.Need desperately to

TOPHAT! Would you please ask Chris Berlin next time you speak with him about the condition of Rich and Karen Henkes's house in the Tres Cocos area, (just north of Paul and Mary Ellen's)? We would really appreciate any information on their home/dock.
