The Golden Frogs (Atelopus zeteki and A. varius) are national symbols of Panama, but are now rare, due to a disease that has virtually eradicated them in the wild. I saw them at a zoo in El Valle de Anton an hour or so west of Panama City. Your photo looks like them, though some I saw had black or dark blue bands on their backs ... and I'm no expert. I don't know the scale of this photo, but the Panamanian frogs are really very small.
