South Texas is a secret.....we are semi tropical, great sun, breeze, and too dry lately. Gulf of Mexico, water is not the pretty color of the Caribbean, but nice, good beaches, beige sand. Beautiful blue skies, and great sunrises and sunsets. Many water ways inland also. South Texans have so much freedom. Mexico is 15 minutes from my front door,and plenty of mexican beers. Easy way of life for still being in the USA.
It ain't Ambergris Belize, but close.
