I have never seen "red snapper" at that fish market. Unless you are calling a mutton snapper a red snapper because it turns red when dead.

Do they ever sell grouper or lobsters???

There was a small seafood outlet in San Pedrito called Mario's. He has a clean place with a couple of refrigerators and freezers. He buys from local fishermen everyday and resells, mostly to restaurants. We used to buy there often. It's hard to give directions, but you can ask at Fogon.
