I agree with John, Banana Beach is a good choice. A little far from town but a golf cart will fix that for ya. Yes, we will be on the AA flight from DFW on the 26th. Just look for 3 mature looking guys with smiling faces!! Lately i like the sound of mature rather than old!

johnboy...i am so happy to have some fellow southerners to show everyone how it is done in the south. we will look yall up and the first matacoladas are one us! richard..we will see you on the 26...do you mean mature in the way you act or just plain ole old??!! if its the first one we can take care of that..the latter doesnt matter! bananas beach...far from town? is it walking distance if you dont have a golf cart?

It's about a mile or so to town-----Age might make a difference in "is it too far" to walk...For me yes but it is a nice way to see AC....Remember in AC no-one really gets in a hurry,....It took us (last year,our 1st trip) about 1 day to realize this & get into that"slow-mode"...You will love it!!!!!!See ya in AC!!!!!John & Linda

I will also be on the AA flight to Belize from Dallas. It departs at 12:40. Is this the same one you all are on?

If so, I am thinking of making a t-shirt that says "If you are from the board please say Hi." LOL. I will be the blonde, slightly tired (Have to leave home at about 3:00 am to catch LA to Dallas flight)33 year old gal wiggling her toes (Nervous habit)in anticipation of arrival to Belize.

Anyone heading to Jet's for a quick drink after flight?

Yep that's the same and only AA flight to paradise that day out of DFW!
You will recognize us 3 "old guys" by those "Huge" smiles of anticipation! At least 2 of us, this will be ones 1st time.
We will try to get one more down at Jet's befor puddlejumper time. I think our Maya flights are 45 mins. after we arrive in BC.
Don't forget that the drinks are free on Int'l. flights!! The Bloody Marys were good last time too.

I am in 22F, about four rows up from you guys (window seat). Stop and say Hi, or I will make sure to come back and introduce myself.

Like your pals Richard, this will also be my first trip to AC. It will be fun to see if I can figure out which three are you guys! I think we will all be on the 3:40 puddle jumper?

I am staying at Rubies, which seems to be the no frills, yet so incredibly priced establishment it enables a single traveler to stay a full two weeks kind of place (Also in town, which I thought would be a good way to place myself right in the middle of things!).

So excited I can't hardly stand it!!!!

We don't arrive on AC until July 5th, looks like we will miss most of the partying. Will anyone be left?? We will be there from the 5th - 14th. Hope ya'll have a wonderful time. Just save some drinks for those yet to arrive!!!!
