Today's pic of the day The Jewfish ( Goliath Grouper) The name was changed officially a few years back with the help of The Organization of Christians and Jews.
The story is in the 1800s, jewfish were considered trash fish, and some people declared it was only fit for Jews.
San Pedro had a Jewfish Street name until Mayor Elsa Paz changed it to Goliath Street.
The poetry here is the biblical Philistine Goliath was slain by the Israeli Army mail boy.

Not digging this kind of beard ---- they seem to be popular with a certain set BUT.... (as in Butt-Ugly)

I was not in a cage. My heart was letting me know how excited I was. Kate was behind me with a broomstick in case the situation got nasty. He's lucky she didn't have to hurt him with it.
