Hello all,
I have visited AC many times. I will be on AC next month. A decade ago I went diving. Now I'm looking for an up to date snorkel recommendation. I would like a boat with easy ladder access. Are there snorkel trips to Blue Hole? Is it worthwhile to take the trip to snorkel? I would like a trip where there is great supervision of the snorkelers. Because I have gone from younger and braver to older and more cautious. Any other sites I should consider?
Thank you for your help.
Looking forward to returning!

I am a huge fan of Oliver at Cari'bean Tours -- very knowledgeable, patient and careful with swimmers of all experience levels. Extremely attentive to guests in his smaller boat. Can't speak to Blue Hole, but for staying around Hol Chan, Ambergris, Caulker area he's amazing.

Grumpy and Happy purposely have the "best ladder in Belize.". They do custom trips and supervise well.
Olivier is also great, and I love Genie at Coral Divers.

I have not done Blue Hole at all, but understand that snorkeling there isn't that interesting ..... However and further told that there are a couple of other excellent snorkel spots included in the Blue Hole trip so perhaps it would be worth it to go!

you do need a guide for the reserves but you can also kayak out to the reef and use the tieoffs yourself in other areas.

I appreciated katzgar's help, but I want to point out that kayaking out and snorkeling alone can be dangerous and is not for anyone without a ton of experience.
