Belize Water Services Public Notice: Pay Electronically

Now that our country has confirmed cases of Covid-19, Belize Water Services is adhering to the guidelines set by the Government of Belize and the Ministry of Health. To comply with the State of Emergency declared for San Pedro, our office in San Pedro will be closed until clearance is given.

Please note that all other offices country-wide remain open. However, given the COVID-19 prevention guidelines, BWS encourages customers to utilize telephone and electronic means of contact to conduct business and to utilize online banking to make payments.

Customers can contact BWS via:

• Regular telephone to 222-4757 or any of the listed branch offices

Online Bill:
• Please send your email address to customercare@bwsl.com.bz so that we can send your bill online.
Online Payment:
• Customers are encouraged to utilize their commercial bank to make online payment to BWS. Please contact your bank for setting up the online payment option.
• Customers with Visa or Mastercard credit cards (regardless of issuing bank), can visit Atlantic Bank's homepage (www.atlabank.com) and use the Bill Pay with credit card option. You will need to have your BWS account number and meter number on hand. Note that this option will show you the outstanding balance and due date.
If you must visit a BWS office, please note that:
• Due to the social distancing restrictions, BWS will limit the number of customers at our office.
• Anyone displaying any flu-like symptoms are asked not to visit any BWS office and use the above methods of doing business.

Changes to Opening Hours

All BWS offices closed until further notice. All BWS offices will be closed to the public as a precautionary measure to ensure safety of our customers and staff.

Effective April 17, 2020 all offices will be opened for customers to utilize cashier services.

BWS COVID-19 Assistance to Customers

BWS Suspension of Printed Bill delivery

Belize Water Services advises customers that the delivery of printed bills is suspended until further notice.
You can now receive your water bill either by SMS (text), WhatsApp, or Email.
We encourage you to update the contact information on your account to receive your monthly bill.

You can sign up for e-billing by sending us your account number and mobile number for text or WhatsApp or an email address. We are available on Facebook & WhatsApp and can also be reached by either of our toll-free numbers or email.

BWS is now processing the COVID-19 Relief for the April Bills. This Relief will be shown on your next bill as a CREDIT (PAYMENT).

BWS Payment plans

BWS advises customers that payment plans are now available for those who have been displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Proof of unemployment due to COVID-19 must be presented!
