We arrive on the same day and both from Calif.!
What airline are you flying? If it is American we will most likely be on the same flight from DWF to BZE. How long are you staying?

Yep - I'll come equipped with a card (maybe 52 of em) Maybe we could rent one of the six seaters (will probably have to pay twice at the hand ferry). Or, maybe we should just arrange for a water taxi since we might just fill up a boat by the time we're through!

I kinda like the boat thing, why dont we just rent a boat chauffer, for the day?? Wonder how much that will cost? That way,we really wont have to worry and we could enjoy the ocean views.

Hey Islenutt,
What flight are you guys on out of DFW. The little lady and I are on the 12:46flt/#2193 and are looking forward to our 1st visit to AC 5/2-5/12.

Although we've been to some of the top diving spots in the carribean we are really looking forward to this trip. Maybe we'll be on the same flight down, you'll know us as the people having way, way too much fun (that and the OU shirts and hats).

After reading this board for all these months we are ready to go. I don't think 10-days is enough time - but we can always return, which is something we have yet to do at any of the other islands we've visited.

RiverShark - Yep that is the same flight! We will have to try to find each other in the airport. Although my time between flights is only an hour. I sometimes have to run like crazy to get to the gate!
We can include Eracsder also if he is on this flight.
Have you booked your flight to AC yet or are you taking the water taxi?
10 days will give you just enough time to get hooked!
This is my second trip but it looks like it will be a yearly thing! Last year my daughter was traveling with me, this year I am going solo.

You will have to go with us on the pub crawl on the 6th. Where are you staying?

Jackie & Gela - A boat would be great. Or maybe we can walk the beach as far as we are able and then take the boat to Palapa... Either way it will be a blast.

Yep Jackie, my little crew is definitely coming and we are getting golf carts too! We had the most fun on those things last year, with the 10 or so folks we have coming we'll at least rent two again between our little group as that worked well last year. It was definitely interesting trying to get them on the hand ferry after many beers at the Palapa. My boyfriend tried to work the ferry last year and instead of pulling hte ferry boat, he pulled himself off and fell in the water!! It was pretty damn funny at the time, my group serves to provide wacky amusement, especially after multiple Belikens!!!!!!!

This is sounding more and more like a plan, I guess Islenutt will talk to her airport buddies on the ride down . So we will start at El Divino,for breakfast or lunch and work our way up north.

River Shark where are you staying at?

The only ones not staying at Bananas is Gela, , but you will have fun at Coconuts, I will definatly be down there enough, that you will think I am staying there !!! and Eracsder at the Mayan Princess,sorry. :p

I am a happy camper at Coconuts - Room #5. You guys can start down at BB and pick me up on the way! We'll stop at Coconuts Bar and visit with either Ada or Margie and then continue on up - Crazy Canucks, BCs, Pier Lounge, then maybe lunch at Papi's before heading up to the Palapa?

Hey guys
I must have dozed off- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
We're staying at the Blue Tang on the north end of town (I think). Arriving May 2nd and leaving on the 12th. We've got a room on the third floor overlooking the beach and pier.
Diving with Hustlers - probably 8 out of ten days plus acouple of night dives. We also want to do the catamaran thing to Caye Caulker one day & maybe another excurision, but I think we can work in a pup crawl or two.

Look for a couple each carring a regulator bag with dive flag and wering OU paraphernalia (the wife works for the university). I'll try to remember to wear my shark t-shirt with jaws on the front. When you see that you'll know it's the RIVERSHARK.
We have about an hour between flights in Dallas so try to look us up.

My wife is not a big diver but she puts up with me (aqua-man as my friends call me). When she does't dive with me she'll be doing some serious beach time. We are really looking forwrd to the friendly people, great food and the laid back island life.

Maybe you guys can go to Caye Caulker with us one day?
How many are taveling with you & where are you coming from?
Do any of you dive?

It's gonna be a party I can tell from here!!!!
