My favorite restaurant last year was Caliente!! Can't wait to go back there several times again! We also liked the Jambal Jerk Pit for dinner, Mangos for lunch and Estels for breakfast. And of course the fabulous BC's BBQ on Sunday. To be honest the only not so good experience was with El Patio.

We didn't really swim off the beach too much but what we did do was pack a couple of those really cheap floats and just walk out into the water from the beach below the sea wall at Banana Beach and just float out there for hours paddling around. We didn't go any further out than the end of the dock so would just paddle in when the tide took us out to the end of the dock length. That was a great time and I am planning to bring another cheap float again this year to do that. Plus a soft cooler to sit on the dock to keep the cold Belikens within reach!

Hey Seaislegal, I like your thinking. Floating with cold Belikins is hard to beat. Just a heads up: I was buying pool chemicals at the pool store yesterday and they had a floating inflatable cooler for $19.00. Looks like it will hold at least 12 beers with ice. It even had drink holders on the side. Deflated it is about the size of a football. No need to paddle to the dock for a fresh Belikin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
