So after all of this chat I have come to a simple conclusion. If I want to get naked, a more secluded place would be better. And if I somehow manage to offend someone, then I should politely apologise, and put my shirt back on!!! Sounds fair

Just a chuckle here...you might find it hard to get secluded enough, and if you do, it will very likely be a place with a wild assortment of no-seeums. Ouch!!!!!!! Good luck!!

thill... the bottom line is very simple... go nude until someone says something... The further away from "civilization" the better for this activity. Personally, I don't see a thing wrong with being nude. We're born naked! If you believe in Adam and Eve, they were naked until they got bounced. Humans are the only animals on the planet that put clothing on.

And don't worry about starting a ruckus about it...

P.S. Don't forget to post pictures of your trip! laugh

Hardly a day goes by when I don't imagine women in states of undress. There are no boundaries to when and where it may occur-at the post office, the health club, the beach, and chat boards. I also admit to watching TV for hours on end, solely in the hopes of catching a glimpse of bare breasts.

Seems I have a similar compulsion for bare breasts as thill.

Public nudity is illegal in Belize. And people care about this law.

A few years ago a development group announced that they would open a "clothing-optional" resort on a private offshore island. Government pulled all development permits, etc.

"Bottom Line" - keep your pants on.

LOL
There are a lot of things that are illegal in Belize. There are also a lot of VERY remote places you can sunbathe nude if you so desire and the odds that another living human being will know you are doing it are rare.

I seriously doubt that the San Pedro police would take the time to get out of their chairs, go search for a boat, pay for the fuel and drive all the way to Rocky Point to arrest me for sunning nude on a boat. LOL

There is a place for everything. I wouldn't suggest doing it in town. I think respect for families and local rule is in order in town.
I don't however see anything wrong with going to a private place.

To be honest, I don't really know how much people in Belize really care about this law. I've known SEVERAL, meaning many... both men and women who would swim nude after their duties at some of the resorts on the island... they worked for them, they are Belizean... they didn't seem to care. Nudity may very well be against the law, but there are many things against the law in Belize that seem to be cast aside on many nights.... Too many nights did I walk around in San Pedro and smell ummmm how can I put it delicately... ummm POT, yeah that's it POT... laugh
