seashell all I am saying is I went to banana beach I liked it very much .I travel all over the world ,and stay in nice places it was very good ,if a person likes a ocean view room one would hope they would have the sence to book or ask for a ocean view or ocean front room ??? they may say a court yard room is fine in a resort that has it all ,or they might go with a resort that has a ocean view room at a less rate and compromise on amenities or features ,thats why there are so many different hotels and resorts in san pedro I went only once there and stay in town at auqa marina wich I like to... the banana beach is always booked up in advance but will stay there again if I get a chance !!!!

Chris I am very disappointed in you. Seashell spends a couple of weeks every couple of years in San Pedro and is,by herself, the acknowledged master on everything that happens here on the island-what she says goes and what she writes is always correct from her computer which I believe is in Canada.

Chris says: Are you implying that Banana Beach does not make it clear what kind of room you are booking when you book it?
Seashell replies: Certainly not. Where did you get that idea?
Chris says: Are you saying that when guests book what is clearly marked as a courtyard suite they think they are getting an oceanfront suite?
Seashell replies: Certainly not. Where did you get that idea?
Chris asks: Or what is your point exactly?
Seashell replies: My point exactly is that the glowing report that Capt Jeff made was based on his stay in an oceanview suite, not a courtyard suite, that is all.
Chris says: Take your pick, you're either saying that Tim doesn't tell his guests what class of room they have chosen or you're saying that guests who book Banana Beach are too stupid to know what they're getting.
Seashell replies: Not at all Chris, not at all. I've no reason to insult anyone. I've always found Tim and his staff delightful to deal with. Banana Beach is a nice property as are so many others. It gets lots of glowing reviews from those that have stayed in ocean front suites and those that have special arrangements with Bananas and certainly from locals like you and Pedro.
Chris says: Either way, you're out of order.
Seashell says: Well, you'd know.
Chris says: Save your vicious sniping for those who deserve it.
Seashell replies: Well, you'd know all about vicious sniping too.

I'm surprised at you Pedro.
Pedro says: Seashell spends a couple of weeks every couple of years in San Pedro
Seashell responds: You are incorrect Pedro.
Pedro says: and is,by herself, the acknowledged master on everything that happens here on the island-what she says goes and what she writes is always correct from her computer
Seashell asks: Where did seashell ever acknowledge that she is the master of everything that happens here on the island? please provide quotes and threads.
Pedro says: which I believe is in Canada.
seashell replies: well, ya got that much right anyway . . .as you know, I couldn't be bothered to use a computer when I'm away from Canada. As I've said before, it's a good thing not everyone feels that way, or the internet cafes down there owned by Chris and previously by Pedro, wouldn't have done too well.

Tell you what, seashell, why don't you drop Tim an email at info@bananabeach.com so that he can thank you for all the nice things you've said about Banana Beach over the past couple of years.

Chris, I've *never* said anything, *not nice* about Tim or Bananas. Anyone that's curious about that should feel free to do a search using my board member number (1519) and "Banana Beach" as your search criteria. I think you'll be most amused with Chris and Pedro, if you could be bothered to take the time. And Pedro . . buddy, takes one to know one.

Seashell, from your first post on this threat on, you have been questioning other boarders about their knowledge on Banana Beach; what makes you such an expert, and what do you really want to say? IMO you are just attacking some boarders here.

Well like I have said before, I have stayed in all three types of accomodations and I do not have a complaint about either one. I had an ocean front room at another place and it was terrible,if that helps any.
Personally, I quite love the courtyard suite on the first floor and walking right out into the pool "deck". Actually, how much time do you people actually spend in your room, that this is such an issue. Shower and sleep, other than that what is the big deal with the room. From the first day that I walked into Bananas I felt like family and nothing has changed since that day 2 years ago. Jackie
