I'm trying to get airfare from Denver in June and it's around $677 each through Orbitz! Is this typical? It's flying, I believe, Continental to Houston and then Taca to Belize City. I'm not a big traveler, so does anyone think the price might go down? I'm afraid of waiting too long. Much thanks again!! Everyone who has replied to my posts has been most helpful :-)

$677 is high but Denver is usually high. I'd say you could wait a bit. Program it in on one of the websites like Travelocity's Fare watcher and you will be notified whenever the fares change.

American flies through dallas & on to belize city each day except tues. & wed. Check AA.com for on line only rates, they just had a good sale, but it's over now. Good Luck.

luvphins1, I have flown out from both Denver and Colorado Springs in June. Never had to take Taca, Continental flies there from Houston. We usually submit a bid with Priceline and have paid a high of $450.00 and a low of $400.00, So I think you can beat $677.00. Have Fun!

coild be a TACA/CO codeshare.....they do that out of the Northeast often....always a CO plane.

Orbitz often pairs different airlines together. Could be a code share though too.

Luvphins 1, i leave for the caye's on 21 jan and my air from denver thru houston straight on continental is 522.00 thru either orbitz or travelocity. also got about the some rate thru my travel agent. 677.00 is WAY HIGH my email is fmbjohn@hotmail.com if you want to get in touch. also i use sidestep.com which does a great job of confirming rates(sometimes beating rates and is killer for hotel rooms esp. in the states. i use it alot in my travels fell fre to get intouch, john

It's a bit early to be booking a flight for June. American is pricing DEN-BZE at $523, but that fare is only good through May. June fares will probably go on sale in a month or two.

WOW, stop the presses, :>( just for the heck of it checked denver to bze today and they are at like $744.00 on orbitz and travelocity, i think its a function of upcoming spring break and i'm glad i got mine at 522 see you all on wed the 21 st. am more than ready john :>))
