I (sort of) am! For some reason I'm not very productive yet. Hmmmm.

Peter, BTW... I'm going to have to admit that you are right again on another topic. Augh!! Beth and I will explain later.

thank you all for the tips...

guess we'll have time to figure it out over the course of 10 days...

since we are VERY EARLY risers...sunrises will be a special treat from a balcony at banana beach...looking out to sea...i'm sure that can be a visual delight...with the first cup of coffee in the morning!

wow...that IS a view worth getting up early for! the thought of being in that very spot with a fresh cup of coffee every morning for 10 days makes it almost bearable to make it thru the next four weeks in this frozen climate!

waking up here to MORE snow and freezing rain/sleet and facing the drive to work soon...i will keep looking at that sunrise and counting down the days!

can't wait to post my OWN pics with ME in that picture! cool

Mikell,

When you are watching the sunrise, don't forget to look behind you to the west. I got one of my greatest pictures of the sun shining on the clouds behind me. I didn't take this one with my digital, so I can't post it, but it was my best sunrise picture.

Thanks to all of you who are posting pictures of sunsets and sunrises and that beautiful water. My pal and I arrive in Belize mid-February for a week at Blackbird Caye Resort for some heavy duty snorkeling, sunning, sleeping, reading. Then off to the mountains for a few days and ending our trip on Ambergris Caye. This is her first trip and my second and we are oh-so-ready. Two feet of snow yesterday alone. Cold, cold, cold. But, hey, I do live in northern Minnesota so I shouldn't be too surprised. I love it here, but can't wait to get to the tropics for three weeks. Maybe we'll run into some of you while we're there. Maybe posters to this chat room should have signals or wear a red rose or a tattoo, ya, that's the ticket, a tattoo.

Kathy's right -

many of the world's best photographers will tell you...just before you push that button, look behind you, the better picture often may be behind you.
