Thanks for replying Capt Jeff. Sorry, I meant when MN Jeff went to Rico's, if he had anything to report on Coral Reef Villas. Maybe I should start a different topic .

Dear Jeff,

I'm sorry that our dining room wasn't able to accommodate you on your last night (this time!) in San Pedro. I can assure you it wasn't because we didn't want to.

By way of explanation, we've found it helpful to implement a reservations policy and guidelines concerning the maximum number of guests we can seat at one time - not because we don't want to accommodate everyone, but to ensure that we're able to give our dinner guests the best service possible.

Whenever possible we'll accommodate people who haven't made reservations, but our ability to seat more guests depends on the number of reservations already booked for a particular period and whether there are any large groups due in, as was the case on 8 January.

Although our dining room looks large, we unfortunately only have a total of 15 tables so we were about to fill up rather quickly with pre-booked reservations including tables of 10+ guests.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time in San Pedro; on your next visit I hope you'll make plans to have dinner with us - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'm quite often here in the evening, please ask one of our waiters to give me a call, I'll look forward to meeting you.

Best,

Brent Kirkman

C- Rico's is the restaurant at Banyan Bay...I can't place Coral Reef Villas, but I'm pretty sure this is a different property.

Brent- I look forward to it. Thanks for the clarification, and please let me point out that your staff was very gracious, and gave us a quick tour of your property. I'm sure anyone staying there will have a great time.

Jeff,

Great trip report. Thanks for sharing! I have a burning question though ( actually my husband does) but you mentioned the Bowen warehouse and buying beer, water ect.,. We have been twice before to AC and have not tried that route. What did a case of beer cost? Is it convenient and do they deliver to any hotel? Are they open every day? We are going in March for 15 days and it just seems a lot more convenient than schlepping all that beer and water to the room ourselves. Thanks for your input!!

Hi MN Jeff
Coral Reef Villas are the properties next door to Banyan Bay. Apparently, they're able to use all the facilities of Banyan Bay, but if you didn't see them, no problem - thanks for replying.
