I can see them now, cool. I think we are going to have to get a real underwater camera, missed out on what would have been some great shots when we snorkeled at night. A spotted moray probably about the size of the one in your picture that was a tad pissed we were there, was showing us his big teeth !!
Looking into a housing for our digital camara, but any suggestions on a not super expensive underwater camera are welcome !!

Consider buying a used camera. The resale on used scuba and camera gear is zip. You can get a used camera for a fraction of what a new one would cost. Check the want ads or the bulletin board at your local dive shop.

I never knew until this board, that I could purchase an underwater housing for my digital camera. I got the camera for Christmas and only spent 160.00 for the housing. I LOVE IT! If you already have a digital, look under the manufacturer to see what type of housing it takes, then search for that.. I saved A LOT of money by searching online. If you don't have one, why not buy a digital and housing - then you can take pictures under and over the ocean and unload your card at one of the internet shops in town... It's great!
The eel in the picture is small compared to the 2nd one we spotted, he was coming out of the top hole and we could see the rest of him below, he must have been 5' long and the same type as in the photo. The current was pushing me into him so as you can imagine, none of my pictures turned out... I was just a little nervous around him.....

Great pictures!
As a day snorkeler I have used the kodak disposables for years. I've been told that a flash would make the pictures much clearer - better all around. Is there a disposable with a flash?
