High end restaurants on Ambergris is ok, but not what we truly enjoyed.

Many new restaurants on Ambergris, that I am anxious to try, soon.

Whatever the special of the day is! Anything creole style, anything curried. COCONUT RICE! Caye Lime Pie at Jambel's Jerk. Ceviche at Caramba's. Huevos Rancheros at Josie's kitchen. Chicken stuffed johnny cakes at Rubie's (get there early for breakfast!), chocolate coconut pie at Elvi's, too many good things all over the island!

and don't forget ANYTHING at Antojito's San Telmo - excellent values and definitely local food.

Anything that Chap cooks at Caribe Island!! But my favoite would have to be the Caribe Shrimp!! (For those doing the Atkins thing, he is well versed on what's allowed and how to make it taste better than it normally is !!)

Chaps sea food soup !!!!! The Best. Maybe he will take a bue drivers holiday while he is here. No, that woulden't be fair........ Well maybe !

good thing I invested in a "tankini" - ain't no way I'd fit in my bathing suit after a couple weeks of eating all this fantastic food!

Also don't forget to stop by Taste of Thailand. Wonderful fresh well prepared food and pleasant atmosphere. # 56 is my personnal favorite. mobunny
