Well.... we sure are up on status.... Regarding the Sand-Police, they have visited,due to my neighbor,who was broken into, and also for another neighbor ,who needed help for domestic violence, they came immediatly. They are welcome at our house anytime.We have much respect for them, and believe that they are probably understaffed, and must go by priorities.Liquor Warehouse? your residence? By the way.....Great Job on keeping track of our lives, do you mark this on your daily planner?Or... are you to busy Working???

I was not actually talking about the SP Police visiting your house, but I am glad to hear that you hold them in high regards. I was refering to police officers visiting SP while on vacation. I'm sure that there are officers that have extra or slightly used equipment that they might be willing to bring down....if there is a need.

don't know what happened, wrote a reply and it somehow went away. Anyway, it has been suggested to me that this topic would be better suited to bring up somewhere else,(by somebody that actually lives in San Pedro) because just about nobody that uses this board regularly actually lives in San Pedro and therefore just about all and one of you are clueless! I give up, sorry guys, sorry me, was really looking for some help here, am in the middle of a small research project, but so be it! By the way, this week you can win a trip to Belize on "wheel of fortune"!

kippe, my understanding of the suggestion was that, "elsewhere" meant to move your questions to the General Chat portion instead of just the About Ambergris Caye portion of the board.

Seems to me there are enough live-in-SanPedrano's that post here that seem to know a lot about the place, you should have been able to get an answer or two. That said, why don't you just ask them over a Beliken at the Palapa Bar on a Sunday or at Fido's on another day?

Wouldn't people like the editors of the two newspapers, Mayor Paz, or Tom V. have some of these answers or be able to direct you?

First of all, this is not a general chat issue and I know that that is what was suggested. And yes I can go to all kinds of people on the island and get the answers, so that was not the idea either. I thought it was a good place to find out how much people that either live in SP or visit frequently know about the educational and legal system in (in this case) Belize. What bothers me the most though is that my post somehow disappeared. Very disturbing. Thanks seashell!

No I am not talking about the posting on top of the list. I wrote a response and somehow it went who knows where. The weird thing is some people actually got a chance to read it:

Live and learn! Apperently Jesse is there to make sure all is OK in message land and if something hits the wrong key: booooooooom, it is gone! And as far as his claim to be the only "real resident" or some such BS, Peter,chris, Tim, stand up for yourself..........
Marty, I think I am entitled to a personal response from you as well as a response to the members of this board! Where did my original response go????? Who are we supporting here? how can Jesse claim that he is the only one actually living in San Pedro and regularly appear on this board? How about the people from the Palapa, Chris from geez, forgot the name of the place, the tapas bar, Peter, like in "Petaaaaaaa", none of these people live here because they own a business??????
Obviously, some caution has to be excercised before you take the answers to your questions to seriously, if posted to this board! Now let's see if this reply actually survives!
