Gail - your story was funny about your sister - I know how she felt, I was pretty much embarrassed but knew it was funny from my family's side so just joined in with the laughing. Have a great time on AC!

Island Mom and everybody else who is soon to go to AC - have a great time and cherish every moment - it goes so quickly and now I'm back at work I'm feeling pretty down. Must start planning to come back, it was a year ago that we started planning and saving for that holiday of a lifetime - the time just goes so quickly!

Dear C from UK,
I am just curious, of all the places you and your family could have gone in the world, what made you decide on Brianna's Beach House? If I lived in Europe, I think I would be touring every inch of European countries. Our adult daughter just returned from Praque and thought it was a beautiful city. I have been to England and can't wait to return. For Northern Americans, it is cheaper to travel to Central America than to Europe. Therefore, with two kids in college, I can't travel to Europe right now but hope to soon once again. I have to be done with paying these tuitions.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts about our trip. I have had our e- tickets to Belize City since May 2004! It also took planning on my part. I planned the trip, paid for it, and surprised my scuba diving husband at Christmas time. He was thrilled with the prospect of going to the Blue Hole!

Island Mom - I guess it's a case of ' the grass is always greener on the other side'. We love America and would love to live there. My husband is a real keen fisherman and is constantly on the look out for new places that double up as a good family vacation too, he loves the fishing in America and anywhere where he can have a chance of the Grand Slam (Tarpon, Permit and Bonefish in one day) is a must. Also, somewhere we don't have to worry about dodgy tummies as I have a young boy, also it's handy as everybody speaks English and the weather is so great. Another reason is my son is a keen marine biologist and he loves the wild animals too.
We would really love to move there where it's warmer, maybe Florida, but we would have such a hard time getting a green card - the winters seem to be so long and grey here. And, the Government, well, Mr Tony Blair is not making it very appealing to live here at the moment - (whoops, have I opened a cue for a political post?).

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely time and look forward to your trip report!

Dear C from UK,
I think we could have a long conversation about our similiar political leaders at the moment but we better not open that can of worms! Unless we want to go fishing!
My 11 year old son is also a keen marine biologist and loves animals which is partly why I picked this vacation. However, it was mostly intended to be a Christmas present for my husband. Although, it is obviously a Christmas present to myself. However, my husband has been delighted with my choice.
My best friend lived outside of London in Surrey. She did e-mail me often about the long, grey winters. I have only been to England in May and the weather was delightful.Florida sounds nice to the Americans living near NYC!
I will definitely give a trip report in a couple months and I thank you again for the kind thoughts about our trip.
Cracker Larry, I look forward to giving the same glowing report about Xanadu after my first stay at the resort. I hope to also post some photos.

Capt. Jeff - shall try and get something out of hubby regarding the fishing and post when he gets round to it although he says he's no good at report writing. He had a few trips with Capt. Bicho, one of them our whole family went on which was the fantastic barbecue with Capt. Bicho and his son. - Out of this world!
I know he had a great time anyway!

dexte@ - That wasn't us. Maria told us not to leave our shoes out on the porch as previous guests had had theirs taken.

Mine were taken from the beach within about five minutes of me taking them off.

Hey, there may be a new shoe shop opening up on AC!

Have you just returned from Brianna's then for that info? Did you have a good time? Hope so.
