Nah, I got no bashing to do. I just like Xanadu. Nice place, great rooms, great staff, easy access to grocery store and a great little breakfast joint...all a shark really needs to get along. laugh

Never stayed at Ramon's and probably wouldn't, but that's just me. Know people who really enjoyed it, mostly for the party atmosphere, but that's not our style.

Xanadu is aptly named, very relaxing and one of the jewels of the island, IMO.

Dear Catatonic Motivator, We already have reservations at Xanadu for Spring Vacation. The great little breakfast joint, is that on site or off site. If it is off site, what is the name of it? Thank you for your high recommendation. Of course, it just makes the waiting longer! d.

I'm gonna' need help with this one, as I can't remember the name. It's a little green building on the west side of the road (go out the driveway from Xanadu and go south to look for it).

They make several variations of delicious breakfast tacos and are VERY inexpensive. I generally just order up a bagful of 'em and take 'em back to Mrs. Mot and all the little Mots.

Help me out here folks...Antojito's or something like that?

That's right, Antojito's... but it's supposed to be a secret.

FYI - Ramon's does not give big kick backs to travel agents. I get much more commission from other places, and they wouldn't even comp me a room last week for 2 nights even tho they had rooms available (so they are not kissing up to travel agents). But that doesn't mean it's a dump or has bad service, or that I won't sell it if that sounds like what the client wants.

It's good for lunch and dinner, too. Low prices and good food! Also good for breakfast is the many varieties of home made bread from Marinas Market, right next to Xanadu.
