I'm staying at Xanadu. I'll get back to you on the parrot head hangouts. It's pretty much all over in SP.

was there last feb and will be in ac in 20 wakeups. on carnaval day leave your cart parked and walk - too many people to watch out for and too many roads blocked. you won't get painted unless you ask for it.. and ask for it . it'll make you feel part of the celebration. bring some $5 bills because many of the dancers (especially the children groups) look for donations to fund the costumes and their activities. BRING your camara because before the fishing and barring and hangin memories the carnaval will be something you always want to turn to when you're stuck in some cold city wanting to get away to paradise.

Parrot Heads can make a party where ever they go.
Try BC's , Fido's , Purple Parrot at Ramon's Village ( Buffett list's the place as one of his fav's)and anywhere you can get a Belikin or margarita on the beach. Enjoy San Pedro .
And don't forget the Fat Tuesday party at Banana Beach 10PM Feb 8th.... Lakes Area Parrot's hosting event.

Get a flat of eggs and at least one gallon of water based paint (any color). Get a couple Crystal water bottles (sport top), empty, and fill up with paint. Stash your remaining ammo.

The idea is to paint anyone you see on the beach, front, or middle street by squeezing some paint into your hand and smearing it on them. Anyone is fair game. Chasing folks is the best!

Crack eggs on their heads too, be gentle, and no throwing, at least don't get caught.

Get your supplies early, we ran out of eggs last year. Don't wear your Prada or Gucci on Tuesday, you never know who might get ya and you won't recognize them if they do!
