I have been researching the "all day boat" tours and came up with this one that I think we are going to try in April, when we come to AC. It is on a catamaran and they start the day at 9am. It sails over to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, and you get to snorkel there. THen they take you to Caye Caulker and you can get your lunch there and check out the island, etc. Then you sail to Shark Ray Alley and you get to snorkel among the nurse sharks and southern stingrays. Then they sail back to AC. They drop you off at 5:00 pm. All this for $50. They don't say if it is free drinks all day long, they do however say that they provide drinks (soda, beer and rum punch) on the way back from Shark ray alley to AC. The website is http://www.scubadivingbelize.net/catamaran.html Please let me know if anyone has done this trip.

Stephda, we have done the Hustler cat 2 or 3 times, a beautiful day on the water. We usually had a group of eight or ten, so we just chartered the whole thing to have the cat to ourselves with plenty of room. We sailed down to CC, with stops for snorkeling at either or a combination of Shark Ray, Hol Chan or Coral Gardens. Lunch at Caye Caulker which we paid for ourselves but the food is relatively cheap there. Then we sailed or motored back, depending on the wind. In my opinion, zipping through the water under sail with no noise, sitting on the front deck of the cat watching the changing hues of the water is one thing that will stick in my mind forever. The center portion was covered with mats, so sunbathing was comfortable. I do remember beverages being available for the whole trip, but we typically didn't hit the alcohol until after the snorkeling was done. The head on board was nice. We also hit another shark Ray spot just off CC. $50 or so for a day on the water is cheaper than wandering the gift stores. Hustler is a first class outfit also, good and fun folk.

Hey Bobber!! Thanks so much for the info. The hustler cat trip appealed to me for the very reasons you mentioned....NO NOISE! We sailed on a sailboat in Aruba in 2003 and it was one of the best experiences of the entire trip. We will hopefully duplicate that with the hustler trip. Anything else to do that you recommend?

Depends on what you like to do. You probably have some ideas so just float them here and someone will chime in with opinions. If you like doing boat stuff, there are more things available than you see listed on here. Decide what you would like to do, approach one of the tour operators and have them give you a quote, they are very flexible.

Well Beebebaby is back and we went with Unity Tours, a cat and went to Hol Chan and Chalker Caye and Shark Alley. Our captain was Stephen and his crew Robert and Alex, they were all great, we had a blast, a day to remember.
