How real is the concern of disease? I have to make a decision today whether to book my trip to Belize in late November. If an situation does occur it will be too late for me to cancel, and I will lose a large amount of money.

I know that the people of Belize have much larger worries, however tourists are a large support for the Belize ecomony and there are many tourits unsure of what to do and where to get good information.

If the risk is real please tell us and we can postpone our trips.

i wouldn't worry about it. no cases so far, lots of medicine there now, cleanup proceeds well, it'll be fine.
