Looking for info on barging a container from Belize City to the western side of Ambergris Caye just south of Margaritaville? Any ideas or contacts would be greatly appreciated!

Island Freight Forwarders, they are located at the former Island Construction in San Pedro and at Benny's in Belize City. San Pedro: 613 4299 and in Belize City: 223 6236 email: sales@iffops.com. The alternative is Caribbean Queen Shipping from Caribbean Depot, they have the most barges but often charge more 226 2619. I believe that Design Depot also runs a barge to the island, but I have no experience with them.

You might want to reach out to Caribbean Queen Shipping or Benny’s Barging Services - both operate out of Belize City and have experience with container transport to Ambergris Caye. Also, Ocean Ferry Belize and San Pedro Belize Express don’t handle containers, but locals there might know who to contact for barge logistics to the Margaritaville area.
