I'm having trouble with one of the hotels on AC (I wont give the name as a courtesy). Basically we put some $$ down as a deposit on a room and had to cancel due to a death in the family & funeral expenses. This establishment will not give our deposit back after several emails back & forth & they say that it was nonrefundable.

Their website states nothing about a nonrefundable deposit nor do any of the confirmations & emails they have sent me.

Is there a way to file a complaint or some way of getting them to cough up my $$? This was a fairly large amount of money. Any advice would be appreciated.
