It's disgusting that we even have drug dealers here, big and small, and that they occur in such large numbers and it's disgusting that there is clearly much demand here for their "services."

I'm sad that the only person really directly criticising the drug dealers here (prior to this post) is the person who started the thread!

I think 8300 and family deserves a lot of the flak they're getting but I'd feel better if I saw evidence that people on this board were keen to see the back of drugs and drug dealers on the island.

I can't be polite to drug dealers...I was offered drugs outside Marina's store a few weeks ago by a group of fellows I'd never seen before and told them to "f--k off"...then I called the police on them because one of them threateningly demanded to know what my problem was. Just because a drug dealer is initially polite to me doesn't for one second take the sting out of the vicious substances they offer. I've seen too many good Belizeans lose their self respect and families because they gave in to this garbage.

And, before any weed heads get started on the "pot is OK" debate, every pot dealer here has crack for sale as well. In my book that makes every drug dealer on this island an evil person. Until pot is legalized and controlled and taxed it's still the condiut to much more dangerious stuff.

Do we really have to accept that drug dealers are a part of life here on Ambergris Caye? Why be nice to nasty people?
