there used to be an old joke (sorry, i tell 'em bad):

cop pulls a mellow stoned guy in a car over.
cop says "son, do you know how fast you were going?"
"no officer. i'm sorry. what did i do?"
"son, you were doing 25 in a 45 zone".

now, looking at the stats, why does this issue get so much negative press and no support? i think cuz the govt set it up so that anyone who thinks this way will most likely be under scrutiny, so no one will speak up. JMHO
