Suzan---Sorry. I've been down with a bad cold last 3 days and haven't been on the board. Yes, we are still planning on going Oct.25 come hell or high water..OOPS!! Shouln't say that. I don't think we are going to be able to stay at Paradise Villas though. The units Gaz handles are full, I heard another lady had some available there and I e-mailed her before the storm, but haven't heard yet. We had planned originally to split our time between Coconuts 1st---because we figured we would be so busy looking at property that we wouln't miss a pool---and staying at the Villas 2nd to relax and enjoy a pool. Or maybe it was the other way around....my head is still sooooo thick it feels like it could explode!! Cough--cough. I know everything wont be as it was before Keith---but I bet the island people wont take long before they have it whipped into shape again...after all tourism is their livlyhood. The reef will be the same if you are interested in scuba or snorkling, and I'm sure most of the tours are running because they are in a different part of belize. The only difference will be some debris in town and on the beach and some missing buildings. I can put up with that and probably the incessant ringing of hammers. Besides, maybe I'll get lucky and someone will be disgusted with the storm and want to sell their property CHEAP. We are undaunted at this point...how about you??? By the way...what is BVI???? LOL
