I can only speak for my little contribution to the AC economy but my wife and I visit at least twice a year and always book a fishing charter. I doubt this will be the case on our upcoming March trip. I would also guess others will do the same.
So who losses out? The indivdual boat captains just trying to make a living. Will these increased fees help them? I doubt it.
There's just too much nickle and diming going on. It's not totally about the cost it's more about the hassles and the principles.
