I also find it comical that you think the people of San Pedro are so isolated that they wouldn't possibly know about souped up modes of transportation. If you had spent much time north of the bridge, you would know that there are already problems with dirt bikes and golf carts. They have to put up blockages so that people don't drive the carts on the beach and add to the beach erosion. Please help our world, learn about the impact of American overindulgences on a little island like AC or the use of ATVs on the SoCal desert. You did hit a nerve, but more with the arrogance of your response and the fact that you didn't consider that people go to AC because they love it the way it is, not the way you may want to improve it.
