COMMUNICATION - Interesting word. What one person means by paved is not necessarily what another means. I bristle at the word as I think blacktop which of course does not work in this heat. What do you mean when you say 'paved."
The design for the frontage of Reef Village as was presented in the original plans submitted by Mr. Jeff Pierce - oh so many years ago - was for two lanes with palm trees down the middle; kind of like Capt. Morgan's has done behind their resort.
The other thing is that there really is no road. There are utility easements - or right-of-ways.
Mike C. Thank you for explaining why the same potholes open up time after time.
Can we concentrate of a few of the worst areas? Maybe start with culverts and raised road bed from the bridge to the hill past the Cloisters. Maybe we could do one lane for golf carts -and keep the big trucks off - with wide spots as suggested. Then make the trucks and taxis use the old potholed other lane. Maybe they could use some pressure to have the government fix a road for them. Wishful thinking.
Of course there is conflict up here. Like the "wild wild west" this is the "don't tell me what to do North!" Access and lights are lightning rods to verbal shoot-outs.
Thanks Capt. Hollywood for setting up a shooting gallery. LOL
