Thanks for the advice Seashell

I liked your idea about taking the pool/classroom portion here (Give me somthing to do while I wait for my trip!), but I just looked at the schedule of our one and only dive shop and the course is spread over four weeks. It is also almost as much as the entire course there, and that does not include any diving. Do you know how long the classes last each day in AC? I know it will not be much fun studying on my vacation, but I think the end result could lead to both a whole new sport (Right now I really only particpate in winter sports) and great opportunities for travel to beautiful places!
