Belize NMS: Present Condition: Partly cloudy this morning, less so in the north. Mainly fair conditions to set in today and continue for the next few days.

24-hour forecast: A few cloudy spells with shower activity being isolated.
Winds: E-SE, 5-15 kt

Waves: 2-4 ft.

Outlook: Generally fair with only isolated showers, if any, for saturday into saturday night.
Sargassum Forecast from January 21 to January 27: Impacts from sargassum are expected to continue minimal to moderate this week with the chance of a few mats drifting ashore. San Pedro has a medium probability and a moderate expected impact.

The Caribbean Sea

There is a Gale Warning in the south central Caribbean northwest of the coast of Colombia. Elsewhere across the Caribbean, fresh to strong trades are noted in the south central Caribbean, with mainly moderate to fresh trades elsewhere. Seas are mainly 3-6 ft across the basin outside of the stronger winds near the coast of Colombia. Mainly fair conditions are noted on satellite imagery with isolated trade wind showers possible.

High pressure north of the area will continue to support fresh to strong winds over the south central Caribbean. Mainly moderate to fresh trades will prevail elsewhere, pulsing to fresh to strong near the Gulf of Honduras early next week. Northerly swell will propagate into the Tropical N Atlantic waters early next week.
