My fiance' and I are coming to Ambergris on June 5 and staying north of town (5 miles) in a house. We are very excited and plan to do some charter fishing, snorkeling and a lot of relaxing. Maybe even going to another island to get away from it all even more. I am looking around at the messages and thank you they are very helpful. Any advice as to who to see about fishing would be great, as well as what not to miss, and which island to visit and what to see there. What SPF to bring (we have been tanning but I know we'll still need it), and what to expect as far as rain (does it rain allday?) Looking forward so, so much to our honeymoon!

You can do a seach and come up with a lot of recent information on these topics. Also, you won't need to leave the island. There's nothing to "get away from it all".
