I have been coming to Ambergris Caye for 5 years and now have talked the family to buying a condo.We like staying at Pardise Villa's .Want a condo so when we aren't in town someone will be watching it. We haven't been there in 1 year. With things changing what are some resonable places to start looking? I saw Playador cheap on the beach any coments? I have 4 college kids so not to much extra money.But want someplace this year.Any sugestions would be helpful.

cats bought a condo at royal palm last june... I think a very good buy can be found here ..but get a good real estate broker advice .. I used Chris at pelican properties a super nice guy ..there are a few good ones here .shop around but call chris for a start he is a wealth of info..011 501 610 3119 good luck and take your time, no rush ..

I heard BB wont let you use your own unit very much so you really need to check out the regs. for each management agency.

I have been told that beach front prices are doubling every two years. Anyone else heard that?

Cats, you may want to contact Chris Barenfanger at chrisb@btl.net. My wife and I purchased a condo from him. He's a contractor that is presently building a 9 unit complex just a couple hundred yards of the cut. It's in the early stages so you would be able to choose your tile, paint colors, etc. Chris is keeping 3 of the units for himself. One to live in and the other two for family and friends. His being one of the owners and on sight full time after construction made us feel real confident. He's a very good builder.
