txt travler ,yes travel ins is a must ,but as I am in the travel business I find it strange that the hotel ,in any of there e mails or copies of there corespondence or booking confirmantion did it not state there cancellation policies.. if the did not how can you be held responsible ??? are you a mind reader .also did you ask there refund policies ???? when you booked I know you are upset ,and I apologize for my fellow boarders who make light of sad situation ..and if you are right and nowhere is there cancelation mentioned or listed .then I would not think to poorly of you ,to share the name of the hotel here . but try to speak to the manager/owner or both first..the hotels in sanpedro that I have stayed at ,have been just 100% up front and honorable with me..sorry for your loss but let us know your progress ,wishing you the best.hope you get to live the dream in sanpedro soon good luckand god bless..
