Thanks johnboy,

I have never been to AC and am not sure I understand about the roads/paths. I have looked at maps that show the golf course path ending before it gets to belizean shores. Can you still take a cart all the way there? What about a bike?

ac is the island off the coast of belize. the golf course is on an island(caye) by itself. tha only way to get to or fron ac is boat or plane, either of which is easy. of course plane ride is faster and i think about 50.00.

It can be done by bike or golf cart from either place. From Victoria House it's about 1 1/2 miles by road with traffic. I would say the trip from Belizean Shores is little more difficult, it's about 3 1/2 miles on a rough dirt road, with a short ferry crossing thrown in, but it's an adventure!

I wouldn't want to be on a bike at night and try and get to Belizean Shores.

I've walked to/by Victoria House several times. It's a long walk, but very doable. It would be easy on a bike.

My wife and I biked and walked from Victoria House to town several times. Also, walked along the beach at night. Was a nice stroll to an even better evening. The bike is easier, of course. Their is a dirt road from the front of VH to the main part of town and you just pedal down that road. It is flat and easy.
