Any one have the coodinates[d/m/s] for The Great Blue Hole and also Ambergris Caye?

I don't have the blue hole but I have others on AC here...

Just remember that any paper charts you have are wrong and the lats and longs are off by up to a mile. Most GPS charts are still out as well.

Hate to say it being a Brit and all but I've been told that it was screwed up in 1928 by the British Admiralty and has been copied incorrectly since.

I should clarify my statement - if you take the GPS coordinates and plot them on a chart you will not have an accurate reflection of your position. As an example if you take a GPS reading from in front of BYC and transfer that to a paper chart you will show yourself as being on the backside of the island.

Ambergris Caye - the apron of the airstrip is N:17deg 55.07min, W:87deg 57.85min.
Blue Hole (the one at Lighthouse Atoll) is N:17deg 18.88min, W:87deg 32.10min.

Pedro2: There's more than One GBH?

There's more than one Blue Hole. Don't know about the "Great" part. The other is inland in the Maya Mountains. I think they're geologically similar, both being sink holes, though of course one is inland and the other is in shallow water inside Lighthouse Atoll.
