The two of us have always flown right out of Goldson to SP and are wondering if we can save some money flying out of municipal this visit since there are four in our group. Question: what is cab fare to municipal and how long a drive? Thanks.

35 or 40 bz dollars, about 20-25 minutes, also depends what time your flt arrives at Goldson the last flt out of muni is at 5:30 pm.

With four of you there will be a substantial savings. Just be sure you make a reservation. Most of the locals fly on what is called an 'open ticket' so if you have a reservation you would have priority. Allow at least one hour from the time you land at the international until your scheduled flight out of muni.
I think you will actually even enjoy the taxi ride into town. Don't be surprised if after you are on board your plane it takes off from Muni and lands at the international where it will fill any empty seats. The looks on the faces of the people who were on the flight with you will be priceless.

Reaper is correct. After an already long flight, I just want to get to San Pedro, put my stuff in the room and go to Cholo's for the best rum punch around.

I always fly out of Muni even with 2 people , i like it. i enjoy the taxi ride and talking to the local driver getting much info on the local scene, also even with 4 i have never been charged 50 bucks for the cab ride. i always make my reservations for muni ahead of time from home via the 800 number or over the internet and of the 13 times i have flown into international and out of muni i have never had a problem and the time difference is not that great to me, i don't have to get to a bar that quickly and always arrive in a timely fashion and don't mind tipping the cabbie either and the savings out of muni is nice esp. with 4 people....john in denver

Budah, maybe we can hook up for a beliken or ten??? Meet at Cholo's for a few with Tulu? Where are you staying? We haven't made a decison yet. I'm still not over that little guy in Jets charging me $15 Belize for a coco rum & club in April... it was a good drink, but not worth the price.
