We were in San Pedro last march and loved it. Now we would like to return this March with our four children aged 13 to 20 years. The problem is finding a place relativly close to town at an affordable rate. We hope to be there from the 2nd to the 14 th. Any suggestions?

Exotic Caye! And for those that asked earlier NO the cruise ships no longer bring passengers there. Great beach, great staff, great bar (Crazy Canucks), easy walk to town. The kids can learn to Punta on Monday night at Canucks! :rolleyes:

Probably on dodgy ground here - as an owner of what I'm about to promote - but as we're pretty full then and I think it's right for you I don't care!

Look at the lodging section of this web site and have a look at the homes section. I would imagine for your family you will pay a lot less for one of these homes, than two or three rooms in a hotel and of the twenty or so listed there are plenty within walking distance of town. There are four right near us in Boca del Rio for a start.

what kind of accomidations do you require? If you would like basic, clean, good sized room, Spindrifts is excellent with very affordable rates. Right in town on water.

Xanadu, hands down. Great and resonable condos, great staff, close to town, very nice pool and you can just jump off their dock/pier and snorkel.
