If you were staying on Ambergis Caye for a week and were going on one inland trip to a Myan site in Oct/Nov, which one would you choose and why between:

Lamanai
Altun Ha
Xunantunich
Tical

...and why?

Lamanai, just the best overall trip with the most to see.

Agree on Lamanai if you only have time for a one day trip - getting there is as much fun as the site itself.

If you can spare 2 days with an overnight stopover(because it is more hassle to get there and the excavations are much bigger), then definitely Tikal!
