In NO they throw beads and candy... and at the Zulu parade they throw coconuts...WHAT? People fight for them???

i am from the new orleans area, and a couple of years ago, i brought all kinds of throws from the parades to belize....beads, toys, candy, etc...the kids as well as adults loved it...in new orleans, yes they do fight over the throws, and they do in belize, as well...it was fun to bring...this was not even at carnival time, but in october....just handed them out...

cool. hey people, I am the second worst speller on the board so i have no clue why I am saying this but it is CARNAVAL

What are the date's for this? I may be able squeeze some candy in between my swimsuits and flip flops. I'll be there from Feb 3rd-15th.

As soon as you get into to SP, get you some paint (water based) and a tray of eggs.
