We're looking at a few places for a wedding rehearsal dinner in April. We've eliminated some places like Capricorn and Rendezvous because of cost, and we're looking at Casa Picasso, Blue Water Grill, and Caramba.

We'll have 15 or so people at the dinner. We don't have a set budget for this, however, the more money we spend on this, the less money we have for the honeymoon.

Which would you consider the best value for the money of the 3 above? Would Casa Picasso be a pain to get to with 15 people? Is it in a sketchy area at all? Is Caramba too casual?

BWG just might be your best value for money... good food, good service, and they're setup for large groups like yours.

If you're excluding capricorn for cost reasons, casa picasso is definitely out of your price range.

I might also suggest elvi's. Good food, very reasonable and well setup for large parties.. but BWG would be my choice if I didn't want to spring for one of the pricier places like rojo, CP, or Capricorn.

you could just get married in Bali.. my wife and I did and the total cost of the wedding was 500 bucks..

agree, good amount of space too, very pretty, on the water. I would not suggest caramba, not only due to the space but a number of reasons. I thought you were going to Rojo Lounge? I thought that was an excellent and beautiful choice.

Rojo is for the actual wedding reception...we need place for the rehearsal dinner the night before!

sorry! GLAD to hear you are stil doing the reception there, I'd do mine there if I got married. carambas is toooo casual, and a few other things for a rehearsal. I would definately take todds advice on Blue water grill.

I think CP's would be the perfect place. They have no problem with a group your size. Just call ahead so Chris and Jenn will be ready for you.
You just don't get any better service nor food than Picasso's.

You might want to look into doing a sunset dinner cruise. I know there are a couple of boats that do that now. Lady Sharon is one and can't remember the other one right now. You should be able to get a good price on that and we have always had a blast when we did them.

I would go to C.P. if I had to pay for it, I did'nt think C.P. was that expensive, it really depends on how many Martini's or how much wine you drink, I would plan a later dinner around 8pm., which is close to Happy hour.
I'm sure Chris could do something real special for you.
